An independent project
TaxCalcTool is the public name of this independently operated calculator project. It is built around visible assumptions, official references and reproducible calculations.
A focused first release
The site starts with a defined Australian resident employee profile. Its calculators cover annual income, pay-period averages, a basic salary-package split and salary comparisons.
The guides explain what to enter and how to read each result. International bracket tools do not estimate take-home pay. More complete salary calculations need local taxes, deductions and independently checked reference cases.
Evidence you can inspect
The calculation breakdown, supported scenarios, methodology and official source references are available alongside the tools. The same versioned rules generate the worked examples and interactive results.
TaxCalcTool is independent of the Australian Taxation Office and is not an ATO service. No professional accreditation or independent tax-practitioner review is claimed.
Corrections and contact
Found a calculation error, outdated source or website problem? Email [email protected]. Include the page address, financial year, ruleset version and a non-identifying example of the difference. A link to the relevant official guidance helps us investigate.
Use sample figures and leave out tax file numbers, tax returns, passwords and bank details. This contact route is for website questions and corrections. For advice about your personal tax position, use the ATO’s official channels or your own adviser.
