What changed, and why.

New tools, clearer explanations and tax rule changes that affect your estimate.

5 September 2026: choose your country

The homepage now starts with your country. New tools explain the tax bands for Canada, the United States, the German income tax tariff, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Each tool shows its year, input definition, excluded components and official sources. These new tools do not calculate take-home pay.

Australian salary tools now have their own country directory. The bonus calculator starts with a separate bonus amount, HELP and surcharge pages start with relevant options, and the tax-brackets page puts the rates first. Labels and touch controls are larger, with related explanations inside each guide.

Australian salary calculations

The income tax calculator supports 2025–26 and 2026–27 for the published resident employee profile. It includes the applicable standard deduction, LITO, Medicare levy, a full-year hospital-cover choice, optional study-loan repayments and salary comparisons. Super-inclusive packages use a limited 12% illustration.

How we keep estimates current

We monitor the official sources used by each tool. A change is checked before the calculation is updated. If a required source changes or becomes unavailable, that tool pauses fresh estimates until its evidence is checked. Source verification also expires after 14 days.

Your figures stay in your browser. AI is not used to calculate your result. Our content and correction policy explains how we prepare explanations and check changes.
